American Trucking AssocationIt’s Linda Mummert here with highlights for this upcoming weekend.  Tampa Bay & Company is pleased to welcome the meetings and conventions that are being held in Tampa Bay from Saturday, Feb. 5 through Friday, Feb. 11. In all, over 2,600 delegates will attend these meetings and events, which will produce more than 10,000 hotel room nights to create an estimated delegate spending of $2.5 million.

One example of these meetings and conventions is the American Trucking Associations' 2011 Technology & Maintenance Council Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition, being held at the Tampa Convention Center. Approximately 1,600 delegates will attend the conference, producing over 7,400 hotel room nights and creating over $1.8 million in delegate spending.
