The Tampa Bay area events scene welcomed the JAMfest National Championship on April 18-19, which took place at the Expo Hall of the Florida State Fairgrounds.

This year’s event attracted 2,600 fans, competitors and coaches for the two-day tournament.  These attendees produced nearly 1,200 hotel room nights for an estimated delegate spending of more than $2.3 million.

More than 820 participants and 60 dance, school-cheer, all-star and stunt teams faced off in competition throughout the weekend.  Of the 62 total teams, 48 teams were from out of the Tampa Bay area, with seven teams from outside of the United States.  Visit the JamFest website at for more information.
