Tampa Bay Buccaneers Training Camp | Raymond James Stadium | Friday, Aug. 1
Bucs fans listen up! Everyone is invited to the Buc’s first official night practice this Friday (select nights through Aug. 14).  Fans will have the chance to get autographs, purchase merchandise, discounted concessions and special appearances from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders and Captain Fear.  Parking is FREE! Lots open at 3:30 p.m., gates open at 4:30 p.m. and practice kicks-off (no pun intended… haha pun) at 5 p.m.

Light Up Channelside | Channel District | Saturday, Aug. 2 | 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Fourth of July celebrations continue with the Saturday Summer Fireworks Series presented by the Tampa Attractions Association (every Saturday throughout the summer in Channelside). Enjoy food trucks, live music and a fireworks finale at 9 p.m.  The event is FREE!  For more information visit:

Waterworks Park Grand Opening | Sat, Aug. 16 | 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Tampa’s new $7.4 million Water Works Park will open with a special celebration featuring fireworks, food trucks, live entertainment and children’s activities! Nestled beside Tampa’s most-anticipated restaurant opening, Ulele, this 5-acre waterfront park is located in Tampa Heights on the Hillsborough River and will include a freshwater urban spring, a dog park, a splash playground (including a giant water bucket to drench the kids) and soon to include a kayak launch and boat slips.   For more information visit:

Tailgate Taste Fest | Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park | Saturday, Aug. 23 | 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Top restaurant vendors from Tampa Bay will showcase their best tailgate dishes at the inaugural Tampa Bay’s Tailgate Taste Fest.  Serving as the unofficial kickoff to the 2014 football season (including the showing of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pre-season game vs. the Buffalo Bills on a 40 ft. LCD screen), this event will entertain attendees with tastings of Tampa Bay’s most exceptional tailgate foods ranging from chicken, ribs, sliders, Cuban sandwiches and unique side dishes. The Fest will also feature family-friendly games and live entertainment throughout the day.
