Oh boy! That’s right… boys. Jersey Boys that is. From a top Broadway musical to getting splashed with Sea Lion Stars this weekend shouldn’t include any boredom. Start Friday by kicking back at my new favorite happy hour spot and end your weekend on Sunday stuffing your face at a local foodie festival. Here are my top 5 things you don’t want to miss this weekend in Tampa Bay!
Jersey Boys, David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts
Ah, the Jersey Boys charm has returned to Tampa Bay for an unbelievably beautiful performance of pop classics from the Four Seasons; Frankie Valli (played by Tampa native Hayden Milanes), Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. The musical journey takes you on a tour of four blue-collar kids becoming one of the greatest successes in pop music history. Together they wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide- all before 30 (thanks for making me feel like a waste of space boys).
Friday, April 11 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 12, 2 & 8 p.m.
Sunday, April 13, 2 & 7:30 p.m.

NEW Happy Hour, Jackson’s Bistro Bar & Sushi
All right folks, it’s time to revisit Jackson’s Bistro & Bar for happy hour on Fridays! I went last week for their first official Friday Happy Hour kickoff party! It was FANTASTIC!!! $5 Smirnoff martinis (includes various flavors) my favorite was the Strawberry Lemon Drop Martini! Yum, yum! And I must also report that Jackson’s gets my official approval on a good Dirty Martini. Another crowd favorite was the $5 Captain Morgan White Rum Mojito! And for those who aren’t into all the fun, fancy drinks… house wines, domestic beers and wells are ½ off. Live music starts at 6 p.m. So, grab your buddy or your boo with a beautiful waterfront view and let that easy breezy feeling carry you into the weekend! Happy hour is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for more information visit: http://www.jacksonsbistro.com/
