PaddyFest at Irish 31 (Saturday 3/15, Sunday 3/16 and Monday 3/17 | Hyde Park Village)
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day all weekend long with a three-day, all-inclusive street festival in the heart of south Tampa’s Hyde Park Village for Irish 31’s annual PaddyFest celebration.  Starting Saturday (3/15) with live music at 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. and a little something special for the ladies.  A sexy leprechaun contest at 6 p.m. (the sexiest leprechaun wins FREE plastic surgery and no we aren’t kidding). Sunday (3/16) is more of a family-friendly day with a special Kid’s Zone (Noon to 4 p.m.) full of interactive games, face painters, balloon twisters and if your little leprechaun is the cutest, he/she could win a $250 Toys R’Us Gift Card. Rough Riders St. Patrick’s Day Night Parade (Saturday 3/15 | Ybor City | 8 p.m.)
Well, clearly we can’t have a holiday and not have a parade here in Tampa Bay! This annual St. Patrick’s Day tradition is held by the Rough Riders in Ybor City Saturday night.  The parade begins at 7th avenue and Nick Nuccio Parkway.  The parade proceeds east on 7th avenue, north on 20th street and disbands at Palm Avenue.  If you are worried about parking hop on the TECO Streetcar (11 a.m. to 2 a.m.) downtown for an easy-peasy ride to Tampa’s Historic Latin Quarter, Ybor City! Macdintons Irish Pub (Saturday 3/15, Sunday 3/16, Monday 3/17)
This spot is a popular one for everyone on St. Patrick’s Day (especially on the weekends when the line is wrapped around the building) and they have a weekend full of events.   The weekend kicks off this Saturday for their “St. Practice Day Celebration Celebration” where you can prep for the big day with live music starting at 3 p.m. and an authentic Irish buffet, featuring Corned Beef and Cabbage, Fish and Chips and much more.  Sunday is “St. Puppies Day” where you are encouraged to bring your furry friend out to the patio and enter them in the Best Dressed Puppy Contest or the Owner/Doggie look-a-like contest (you know you’ve seen these people at the dog park before).  Jam out to live music with your pup and enjoy a $20 open bar from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Monday, the finale aka St. Patrick’s Day Party Irish Celebration with an authenic Irish buffet including Corned Beef and Cabbage, Fish and Chips and much more; live music on two stages and traditional dancers and bagpipes at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. For more information visit

Mayor’s River O’Green Fest |Saturday, March 15 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. |Curtis Hixon Waterfont Park
Move over Chicago! You aren’t the only ones who dye their river green for St. Patrick’s Day! For the third annual year Tampa Mayor, Bob Buckhorn will host the River O’Green festival in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day at Tampa’s downtown Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.   This family-friendly (and fido-friendly) event is FREE and will include live entertainment, games, kid’s activities, local food trucks serving Irish faire, beer and more!  Want to feel extra lucky? In the spirit of Saint Patrick, there will be a tent on site to collect food donations for the Salvation Army.

Dye the River Green Brunch Cruise | Yacht Starship | Saturday, March 15 | 9:30 a.m. or 12:45 p.m.
Have brunch on the Hillsborough River and experience a one-of-a-kind St. Patrick’s Day experience!
