Happy Monday, Tampa Bay!

The Tampa Bay Sports Commission dropping by to preview the week ahead here at the TBSC.
Well, it’s race week! That’s right; the Inaugural Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon at Adventure Island is just five days away (Saturday, March 9). Already experiencing optimistic anticipation throughout the Tampa Bay community, we hope that you can let your youth be part of this newest tradition. The event targets youth ages 7-15 with the only requirement for any participant being to have FUN! Swim in the heated lazy river, be entertained by the Busch Gardens’ Steel Drum Band, earn a finisher’s medal, collect an Under Armour participant T-shirt, and purchase discounted Adventure Island tickets!
View the event website, www.TampaBayKidsTriathlon.com, for a comprehensive look at the event, and be sure to register your youth today!
Also on the horizon is the Kenny Chesney Concert as his No Shoes Nation Tour kicks off at Raymond James Stadium on March 16! Joining Chesney will be friends Eric Church, The Eli Young Band, and Kacey Musgraves. Put winter in the rearview, and usher in spring by waving your pirate flag in Tampa Bay!
