Join Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay for an awesome New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec. 31! Enjoy thrill rides in the dark, jam out to music, and ring in 2019 with a park-wide countdown followed by a fireworks show in Gwazi Park! Busch Gardens will stay open until 1 a.m.

Pirate Water Taxi Fireworks Cruise

Tampa Convention Center

11 p.m. -12:30 a.m.

Join the crew of the Pirate Water Taxi for a unique view of downtown's two New Year's Eve fireworks displays. You can "ooh" and "ahh" and get twice the show as the sparkling display twinkles across the dark surface of the Hillsborough River. The hour-long cruise includes champagne to toast the new year

Welcome in 2019 on the downtown waterfront with a breath-taking view of Tampa Bay's glittering towers while the area's biggest fireworks display sparkles on the dark waters of the Hillsborough River and Garrison Channel. The party includes a champagne toast, DJ and passed hors d'oeuvres. 

Armature Works New Year's Eve

Time: 9 p.m.-1 a.m.

Enjoy Tampa Bay’s most exclusive New Year’s Eve party at The Gathering in Armature Works. Dance all night to a high-energy live band and DJ while enjoying a top-shelf open bar, a wide selection of late night hors d’oeuvres, as well as a champagne bar and midnight toast. At midnight head outside to the Armature Works front lawn to catch one of the most elaborate firework displays in the city, with downtown as the backdrop.

Glazer Children’s Museum

Noon-5 p.m.

Even your bedtime is well before midnight, you can still ring in 2019 -- over and over again, actually. The Downtown Countdown lets little ones can celebrate the new year at the top of every hour at Glazer Children’s Museum with fun activities all afternoon. New Year’s Eve festivities included with admission.

ZooTampa at Lowry Park

10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Ring in the New Year family-style at Zoo Tampa for a mid-day year-end celebration. The party includes interactive entertainment, a rockin’ DJ, a countdown to the NOON year with a kid-friendly toast and more. Noon Year’s Eve fun included with paid zoo admission or zoo membership.

Armature Works Balloon Drop

10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Join Armature Works in the courtyard for a Noon Year’s Eve bash featuring Spheres Bubble and Magic Show and a big balloon drop when the clock strikes NOON! This family-friendly event is free to attend. 

Outback Bowl Parade

Seventh Avenue, Ybor City

5:30 p.m.

Tampa Bay loves a parade. Celebrate Tampa Bay's oldest bowl game in the heart of its historic Latin Quarter with a parade down Seventh Avenue (La Séptima to locals) featuring floats, more than a dozen marching bands, and the teams from Outback Bowl contenders University of Iowa and Mississippi State University. Afterward, take the TECO Historic Streetcar downtown and keep the celebration going with fireworks along the Tampa Riverwalk.
