Friday, Oct. 6:
WOBtoberfest at WOB Westchase (Fri & Sat)
Earlier this week we told you about the annual WOBtoberfest event at World of Beer in Westchase featuring tons of beer and a live performance by TONIC on Saturday.  On Friday admission is only $5 before 7 p.m. and $10 after 7 p.m.  Saturday, admission is $15 before 5 p.m. and $20 after 5 p.m.   
Keith Urban at the Amp
Tonight at the Amp we welcome Country music’s hottest Aussie star, Keith Urban with Little Big Town and Justin Lynch.  Concert starts at 7 p.m. and ticket prices range $29.25 - $73.10 (813)740-2448
Tim Reynolds at Skippers Smokehouse

ZooBoo at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo (Fri & Sat)
One of Tampa’s largest family friendly Halloween events is back for another year with haunted houses and trails, costume characters, boo houses and season lights.  Coolest thing about ZooBoo? Each spooky attraction has a “scare factor” rating so you can decide the scare level for your little goblins, and well… maybe you. Guests can also enjoy unlimited zoo rides in the dark! Tickets range from $18 for adults, $14 (ages 3-11) and kids 2 and under are free.
Brick-or-Treat (Sat & Sun)
Weekends in October this kooky event takes place at LEGOland in Winter Haven.  Enjoy themed treat stations, scavenger hunts and kids costume contests. Tickets range from $75 ($65 for seniors and kids 3-12).
Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay (Fri & Sat)
Oh my…. For those looking to be terrified be sure to get tickets this season to experience Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens.  This year prepare for tormenting surprises around every corner and unexpected terrors  from the evil 13 like #7 Surgeon, #4 Butcher, #13 Clown and the one I actually had the chance to come face-to-face with , #6 Voodoo Queen inside one of the newest houses, Death Water Bayou.  Her night servants roam with a zombie-like hunger and seek to grow her collection of minions of evil.  Check out my Howl-O-Scream “ScreamCam” video to see if I fell victim to her spell (and turn your speaker’s down… I was terrified!) Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival
Starting tonight, Tampa Bay’s longest-running cinema showcase, the Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival celebrates 24 fabulous years! The festival opens at Tampa Theatre and features The Happy Sad, a flick that exams bisexual curiosity among two Manhattan couples, one white and straight and the other black and gay.  For the first time ever, the festival’s opening night will be FREE.  The movie begins at 8 p.m., but get there early to experience festivities at 7 p.m. on the orange carpet. MOSI after Dark Food Truck Rally
This after hours event at MOSI gives you the opportunity to explore the museum at a discounted rate of only $5.  Enjoy admission to the museum’s exhibits and feast your eyes on tasty food trucks, enjoy live entertainment and more! 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Oktoberfest Beer Tasting Dinner Cruise (Fri & Sun)
Board the Yacht StarShip for an hour-long tasting of six premium beers before setting sail for a 2 and a half hour cruise. Good news is parking is FREE thanks to the Port of Tampa! Beer tasting is $25 and cruise costs $54.95 and sets sail at 6:30 p.m. and docks at 10 p.m. (5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday).  
Burgers and Beers at the Sail Pavilion
TGIF! Nothing goes better than Friday…. Burgers… and BEER! Now add a 360 degree waterfront bar and that sounds like heaven, am I right or what? Tonight from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. head over to Sail Pavilion by the Tampa Convention Center, along the Tampa Riverwalk and build monster burgers while sipping on craft beers! Pups are always welcome at the Sail Pavilion, Fido likes Friday nights out too ya’ know!

Saturday, Oct. 5:
NEW exhibit, Dinosaurs: Land of Fire & Ice at Glazer Children’s Museum
Take a step back in time with the kids and check out volcanoes and ice caves at Glazer’s newest traveling exhibit featuring prehistoric predators. Encounter touchable dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes while investigating with clues of what they left behind.  The exhbit features three distinct sections: Land of Fire (a warm dinosaur environment), Land of Ice (a cold dinosaur habitat), and a Field Research Station (complete with a big dig component). Admission starts at $15 for adults, $12.50 for kids and runs through January 20.  
Urban Kai Event
For the adventure enthusiasts, join Urban Kai stand Up Paddle Board Shop (located on the Hillsborough River) as they celebrate their shop expansion while making a memorable day on the water to support charity, Khusi Hona Orphan Project.  The event is 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and guests can enjoy live waterfront music, board demos, live Art by Cheeta Chad, raffles, Yoga, massages, henna, hula hooping, sunshine and more!
Repticon (Sat & Sun)
Reptile lovers unite! Saturday and Sunday at the Florida State Fairgrounds prepare to see everything that slithers and different kinds of creepy crawlers all in one place.  Vendors will be on hand with reptile pets as well as raffles and seminars for adults and children. Tickets are $10, $5 (kids 5-12) and 4 and younger are free.  Gates open both days at 10 a.m.
Ybor City Saturday Market (Every Sat)

Yoga in Ybor (Every Sat)
Every Saturday morning at the Ybor City Museum State Park enjoy Yoga in Ybor, a group of yoga enthusiasts meet at 9:30 a.m. (all levels welcome).  Yoga is FREE (suggested donation) and taught by certified and trained professionals.
Ybor Oktoberfest Pub Crawl

Taste of Westshore
Earlier this week we told you about a super fun food, beer and wine event happening at Hillsborough Community College with more than 20 local Westshore area restaurants.  Your ticket includes unlimited samples, beer and wine!  My favorite part of the event is all the proceeds benefit scholarships for hospitality and tourism students.  My biggest tip, buy your tickets in advance and save $10.  Tickets at the door, day of range from $30-$60.
Beer Brunch Cruise, Yacht StarShip
For those looking to switch up your usual Sunday football routine? Board the Yacht StarShip for a special Beer Brunch cruise.  While on board, sip on free flights of premier beer samples and feast on a chef prepared brunch buffet. Best part of brunching on board? TV’s are in every room of the Yacht StarShip so you won’t miss any football games or key plays. That’s worth a touchdown dance!
