Did I ever mention to you guys that I love my job? Well just in case I never did, now is the time to declare such a thing! I think the title alone will tell you why I am in such a jovial mood, as on Tuesday evening I visited the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for the annual unveiling of the 2010 Seminole Hard Rock Girls Calendar!
Believe it or not, as much as I enjoy the Tampa Bay nightlife scene, I had never actually been to Floyd's Nightclub, which is where this year's event was hosted. If you haven't been though I suggest you take a tour, or without question consider hosting a party or event there as its a great venue for a reception such as the one I was attending the other evening.

There was plenty of food and of course an open bar, (which I took full advantage of), and the sliced pork and shrimp cocktail were some of the best I have had in a long time, so kudos go out to the catering staff for allowing Jerm to get his grub on and put a happy face on his plate!

Some of the lovely ladies of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino...Now after the food, and mingling, we went on to the show! All of the lovely ladies were on hand to sign calendars and mingle with the crowds, before being formally introduced by John Fontana, President of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Next year I am going to try and talk John into letting me MC the event next year...lol, but I am not optimistic that he would go for it.

John kicked things off with an awesome video of actual photo shoot! Watching this gives you an idea of how much work goes into an undertaking like this, so give a ton of credit not only to the girls for their professionalism throughout the process, but to Gina Morales and her staff for putting everything together!

Then it was on to announcing the girls, which was also pretty cool, because none of the girls had actually seen the calendar or their photos prior to the event, so it was great to be able to share the experience with them!

Congrats go to Amanda for being the centerfold in this year's issue, as well as congrats to Kristina for being the cover girl! As an added bonus, Kristina won a trip to Vegas and invited me to go and hang out with her there! Okay so that last part isn't true, but Kristina is going to Vegas with a little spending money to boot, for being this years cover-girl! Congrats to Kristina, Amanda, and all of the girls for a phenomenal calendar.

Speaking of the calendar, if you would like a copy of the calendar, it went on sale today for $10, so stop by the Hard Rock and pick yourself up one! Proceeds go to benefit The Spring of Tampa Bay, so its for a great cause!

This is Jerm signing off now, but feel free to check out the photos below from this event and be sure to check back soon for more updates on things to do in Tampa Bay!
