Folks living west of the Rockies just go another non-stop route to sunny Tampa Bay!
This week, Delta Airlines and Tampa International Airport announced a new flight from Salt Lake City starting at the end of this year. The new flight links the deserts of Moab with the lush green cypress-lined Hillsborough River and the mountains and canyons of Park City with the peaks and valleys of Busch Garden Tampa Bay's roller coasters. Tampa Bay can also be the gateway to manatee encounters in Crystal River, the Gulf beaches of Clearwater and Anna Maria Island and the theme parks of Orlando -- they're all about 30-60 minutes away. Even a day trip to Cuba is just a 70-minute flight on Southwest Airlines from Tampa!
The Salt Lake City connection is the latest non-stop flight from the West to Tampa Bay. Other daily flights are:
Daily from San Francisco on United Airlines (opened February 2017)
Daily from Las Vegas on Frontier (opened in September 2016) and Southwest
Daily from Seattle on Alaska Airlines (opened in 2015)
Daily from Denver on United, Frontier and Southwest
