The Fight for Air CLIMB TAMPA is a unique event where individuals and teams race, run or walk up the 42 floors/914 steps to reach the top of the Bank of America Plaza. Don’t miss your chance to get involved in this one of a kind event. Create a team of friends, family or co-workers and compete together. This event is a great way to challenge yourself—whether your goal is just to reach the top or to be the first to cross the finish line—you will walk away with a newfound respect for your lungs!
Additional Information: Help the American Lung Association Fight for Air! Participants can climb and fundraise as an individual or make it more fun and form a team. All participants are professionally timed and ranked by timing chips. The registration fee is $25.00. The minimum fundraising goal for each participant is $100.00. Registration fee and minimum fundraising goal are required to participate in the event. All climbers will receive an official stairclimb t-shirt, giveaways and refreshments (must be registered by March 1st to guarantee shirt.) Fundraising incentives will be given to top fundraisers. Start early and you will easily reach your fundraising goal! All participants are invited to join us at the Bank of America Plaza's courtyard for the continuous after party which will include: food, beverages, live music, and give-a-ways. Awards will be given to fastest climbers, top fundraisers and top teams. Your support helps the American Lung Association in the Fight for Air. With lung disease on the rise, we are fighting for research that will find a cure for tomorrow. We are fighting for those who can’t quit smoking and those who shouldn’t start. We are fighting for lungs that burn from exercise rather than from ozone. We are fighting for asthma education to stop children from dying form asthma attacks. We are fighting for laws that improve air quality both inside and out. And we won’t breather east until we win the fight.
