Hello there Tampa Bay sports fans! Jerm here with a quick re-cap from some fun times tonight over at International Plaza with FC Tampa Bay as they prepare to take on Bolton Wanderers this Thursday at Al Lang Field!
If you haven't been to the Pub yet, first off let me say you gotta go... as this place is pretty sweet! Inspired by British Gastropubs, the Pub is a restaurant and bar serving classic comfort food with a twist. They have a wide variety of draught & hand crafted beers, wine and cocktails.
Tonight's event was a meet and greet with the FC Tampa Bay players and coaches with good food, drink and appetizers. Fans got to meet some of the rowdies players and as well as coaches and staff in a relaxed atmosphere. I actually had the opportunity to meet head coach Ricky Hill and technical director Perry Van Der Beck! We just sat there and talked soccer for about an hour, folks and they are both very easily approachable and great guys! Now that's what I call fan interaction.
Looking forward to the next few days as Bolton will have an open training session today in the morning from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the University of South Florida before squaring off against FC Tampa Bay at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg on Thursday night at 7:30.
If you haven't already done so, please get your tickets for this one, as its not often you'll get to see European soccer on display of this quality. Having said that though, I'll still be pulling for the in season in form FC Tampa Bay and will make the bold prediction of an FC Tampa Bay win by the scoreline of 2-1!
Get your tickets by calling the FC Tampa Bay front office at 813.287.1539 or email firstname.lastname@example.org!
That's all for now folks, but be sure to stay tuned in for more updates on things to do in Tampa Bay and sports related Tampa Bay area events!
